When it comes to Election Fraud, it seems to me Republicans doth protest too much.

Now is the Time

Now is the time for Barack Obama to go to Congress and work with and lead the Democrats in a bailout plan that meets the needs of average Americans over those of financial special interests. Strips participating institutions corporate officers of stock options. They should not benefit from the added stock value of a federal bailout.

We should also move all assumed mortgage instruments into a Mortgage Holding Trust Fund, whose mission is to keep people in their homes and ultimitly make a profit from 95% of mortgages that are not in jeapordy.

How many innocent fathers, mothers, brothers, sister, those just trying to live an honest life are dead now? Because of our actions how many generations will be scared with the demons of war.
Our government stood by as Neighborhoods were scattered by the winds of a hurricane and left to find their own way home. Today we stand at an abyss, our only option, too jump. But jump into what? Into debt? Debt that will stand in the way of our hope for a better America. One where health care is a human right and abundant alternative energy fuels an economic renaissance.

Although we will have no say in how this trillion dollar bailout will go. I think we should at least look at how we could have really made this work for the people.
ONE: Set a 2 year moratorium on foreclosures for all mortgages bought up, by the government, in the bailout.
TWO: The government will then renegotiate the loans at current home values for fixed rate loan's at current rates for 30 or more years if necessary to insure long term home ownership. We, the people, will in essence be buying our homes back from the banks at pennies on the dollar, granted maybe sliced up into a whole lot of Bologna, but don't worry banks, we'll figure it out.
THREE: Use the infrastructure of AIG (American Insurance Group) to establish a National Insurance Trust Fund. Everyone pays in with taxes and everyone is covered in the event of a life emergency. floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes. How much do you pay for insurance a year? How much of that is insurance company profit? How much is CEO pay?

I've always been one to listen or read what a canidate has to say. I'll go watch the video or read the speech to see what the person actually said.

I'd have to say that John McCain's accceptance speech tonight at the convention. Was the worst speech I ever heard. Ok maybe not the worst, I've really listened or read some totally crappy arguments, stuggling to see if that person had one.

He spent most of his time begging for the job. trust me, I promise i'll do a good job, look ,I'm brave and honerable and I got character.

But there was no leadership. No call of a generation for a new future. No bold plan that all of us can unite behind.

He wants to be seen as the man we can trust to keep the rutter steady in troubled sea. when what we need is a leader to chart a new coarse.

What does John McCain Think?

Your daughter is a sixteen year old girl is brutily raped and becomes pregnant. Who decides the course of the life of the the sixteen year old child? Is it the mother, the father? The family as a whole or the daughter alone?
Sarah Palin is against abortion for any reason other then the health of the mother. But that begs the question as the extend of "the health of the mother" is it the life and death decision made on an operating table at the moment of birth. Or does it extend into the emotional, pyshcological and finanical, going forward.
Palin has said in the senerios above that "I would choose life." But her unilateral discision with out even a nod to conciltation with her daughter may be example of her superior "executive experience" but it totally disregards the felling of the daughter that was raped.
I think it has to be the decision of the person who is pregnant. The decision as to whether a person's genes go on is a personal decision that no government can impose on anyone. The right to procreate or not is the definition of privacy
