Global Taliban

I was thinking today about women and their place in the world. One thing I don't think I will ever understand, what seems to me, to be a lack of outrage on the part of many women over the treatment of women on this planet. They are a majority of which a majority live in totally oppressive enviroments. Sometimes I wonder how many brilliant minds have been wasted or lost because of family honor or just being thought of as expendable or worse a burden. It almost seems like there is a gobal taliban mentality that men control, woman follow. it may be suttle like here in the United States where women slam into glass ceilings and brick walls just because of their genitalia. If you doubt this check the statistcs for female CEO's and remember they are more then half the population. Or It can be extreme such as the honor killing in the mid-east or the female mutilations in Africa. Which brings me back to the question...Where is the outrage?
