I have aways felt that the exsistence of Guantanamo Bay has been a disgrace that this country and history will look back at in shame. Similiar to the Internment Camps of WWII.
The Idea that the government can take any human being, let alone a citizen of this country, and lock You away without having to even admit they have You in custody or give You access to a lawyer or the court sytem without having to prove it's case against You is abhorant. If they can label you a terrorist and lock you away with absolutely no possiblity of relief. Who will be their next terrorist? Do you trust Cheney or Rumsfeld to decide if your a treat to this country. Will your family ever know what happen to you. Will you be the victim of a sadistic guard or tortured because it's a slow day?
Then Imagine that Guantanamo was just the Tip of the Iceburg.
