When the Christian Right claims that Christianity is under attack they are making a political statement used by many groups of all types to mobilize the "true belivers" and as a fund raising tactic. By any measure the Christian faith is the dominant religion in the United States. Ask a politician if they consider themselves a christian and will get a positive response well over 90% of the time. They control all branches and levels of goverment When a person or groups try push Christianity from any hint of government endorsement, it is an attempt to kick the majority in the shins in the name of believers of other religions and those of no religion. So the idea that Christianity is under attack and in danger of being dominated by secular radicals is not only ridiculous but an obvious and commonly used fund raising and mobilization ploy. However for the Fox News Channel to take up this campaign in the name of christian groups is betrayal Journalistic ethic and anything but "Fair and Balanced"
