I have trouble deciding if Fred Barnes is stupid or if he just believes his followers are. Mr Barnes recently critizied Nancy Pelosi for visiting the the President of Syra on her recent trip to the middle east. First, Pelosi visited just days after a republican congressional delegation

met with Pres. Asaad.But what struck me the most was when he, with complete indignation, decried Pelosi for meeting with the Syrian president, a sworn enemy of the US.
My question for Mr Barnes is, what do you call a country where we send terror suspects to be interrogated ? As we did with the gentleman from Canada that was shipped to and tortured by Syria, then released.
It doesn't sound like a sworn enemy.
