I've always been one to listen or read what a canidate has to say. I'll go watch the video or read the speech to see what the person actually said.
I'd have to say that John McCain's accceptance speech tonight at the convention. Was the worst speech I ever heard. Ok maybe not the worst, I've really listened or read some totally crappy arguments, stuggling to see if that person had one.
He spent most of his time begging for the job. trust me, I promise i'll do a good job, look ,I'm brave and honerable and I got character.
But there was no leadership. No call of a generation for a new future. No bold plan that all of us can unite behind.
He wants to be seen as the man we can trust to keep the rutter steady in troubled sea. when what we need is a leader to chart a new coarse.
