John McCain would be the perfect person to head a commision to uncover waste, fraud and abuse in Pentagon spending. He tends to be obsessive compusive about government waste and has not been afraid to take on the Pentagon before. His war hero cred gives him the legatimacy to take on the issue of national defense and fraud.Give him an ax, a scalpal, a chainsaw even a flame thrower if he wants and tell him to go find the trillion dollars the Pentagon can't account for, uncover the corruptions of the "military industrial complex", reexamine the roll of private contractor.
If I was Barak Obama I would point John McCain at the Pentagon and say " go find the waste".
